(“Carestream Health” or the “Company”) has completed a corporate separation, reorganizing its operations into two independent entities with distinct geographic focuses, with the objective of enhancing the long-term growth potential of each business. As a key part of this transaction, Carestream Health has retained all of its U.S.-based operations, while the majority of its international business has been consolidated under Carestream Healthcare International Company Limited (formerly Carestream (Shanghai) Medical Equipment Co., Ltd.) (“Carestream International”). As part of the same transaction, Carestream International has been acquired by an affiliated company of Midea Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Midea”) (000333.SZ/0300.HK）), marking the beginning of a new chapter in its global development and a significant milestone in the two companies’ joint expansion within the global healthcare industry.
This strategic realignment represents Carestream’s forward-looking response to evolving industry trends, with a clear focus on optimizing its business structure, strengthening core capabilities, and unlocking greater growth potential. Following the reorganization, Carestream Health continues to operate its full U.S. business, while Carestream International inherits the company’s long-established global strengths. Its business spans key regions including Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America, serving tens of thousands of healthcare institutions and partners worldwide.
